Chiropractic Sports Therapy Center - Dr. Kenneth A. Nilsson
Chiropractic Sports Therapy Center with Dr. Kenneth Nilsson is for athletes, athletes at heart, and anyone who wants to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Never does one-size-fits all. We provide individualized care for each patient. Rather than just treating symptoms, we investigate their root causes and offer a variety of innovative and effective treatments, all in a relaxing and caring environment. We also equip our patients with nutrition and exercise advice, enabling them to actively participate in their recovery and continued good health.
Over the last twenty-five years, hundreds of athletes, from those involved in recreational sports to those pursuing Olympic medals, have achieved higher levels of success in their sports after visiting our office. Athletes at heart and those suffering from injury and illness have experienced improved mobility and quality of life through Dr. Nilsson’s treatments.
Born and raised in Sweden, Kenneth Nilsson grew up running. He was a member of the Swedish National track and field team before coming to the United States to attend Point Loma Nazarene University on a track scholarship. Upon obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he went on to Los Angeles Chiropractic College, graduating in 1991. Since then, he has received training to become a certified chiropractic sports physician and a certified medical examiner. He has had his own practice for over twenty years, and he continues to learn and grow, attending conferences and keeping current on the latest research. Dr. Nilsson worked and conducted seminars with Dr. Thie, the co-founder of the Applied Kinesiology method of treatment.
Dr. Nilsson and his wife, Paula, a teacher, have been married 31 years. The couple have three athletic sons who have competed in track and field events, snow ski racing, and rowing.
The combination of Dr. Nilsson’s extensive training and his athletic experience enable him to understand and diagnose problems that others might miss. He takes the time to get to know his patients, listening and asking the right questions, so that he can find the root cause of pain and illness.
